The call for the selection procedure for admission to the Italian National PhD program in Learning Sciences and Digital Technologies for the XL cycle has just been published: 37 positions (including 4 positions without scholarship) at 24 Italian institutions.
The PhD course in "Learning Sciences and Digital Technologies" is designed to investigate the relationships between technologies and social and material contexts in educational processes. PhD students will study the pedagogical and neuroscientific foundations of learning, the main pedagogical-educational theories and digital design with the aim of developing new technologies, analysing large-scale educational data, designing educational and docimological methods.
The PhD is divided into 3 curricula: e-Teaching & e-Learning, ETEL; Technology Enhanced Learning & Advanced Technologies for Education, TEL-ATE; New Literacies & Digital Citizenship, NELIT. Without losing the interdisciplinary character of the course, they focus on different areas of study, such as, in brief: (1) teaching procedures, (2) technological innovations, (3) ethics, citizenship and digital skills.
